ELON, N.C. -- Elon Athletics has announced game times for 10 of the Phoenix's 11 football games this fall.  The schedule features six dates in Rhodes Stadium and begins with a trip to North Carolina on Sept. 1.

The season-opener with the Tar Heels will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. and will be televised on the ACC Network.  The Phoenix will open up its home slate with a 7 p.m. kick against North Carolina Central on Sept. 8.  Elon will also recognize its 2012 Sports Hall of Fame Class that evening.  The following week the maroon and gold will play host to West Virginia State in a 3 p.m. contest.

Elon begins Southern Conference play on Sept. 22 at Georgia Southern.  That match-up will begin at 6 p.m.  The Phoenix comes back to Rhodes Stadium to end the month of September when it hosts a Family Weekend showdown with Wofford at 1:30 p.m.

After visiting Appalachian State on Oct. 6 (the lone time not yet set) and its off weekend, Elon will play back-to-back 3 p.m. home games with Western Carolina and Furman.  The Oct. 20 tilt with Western Carolina will be the Phoenix's Homecoming in 2012.

Sandwiched around a 1:30 p.m. kick on Nov. 10 against Samford at Rhodes Stadium will be 2 p.m. starts at both The Citadel (Nov. 3) and Chattanooga (Nov. 17).

Season tickets for six exciting home games are still on sale!  Priority bleacher seats are available for $130 each with reserved bleacher seats on sale for $95 apiece.  Young Alumni ($70) and Family Zone ($45/ticket) packages are also available.  The Family Zone includes two adult and two youth tickets.
