RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association announced today, March 10, that Elon women's lacrosse's Kelsey Dupere has been named the Rookie of the Week. This marks the second time this season that a Phoenix player has received this honor.
 
Dupere led the Phoenix to an 11-6 victory over Coastal Carolina last week with a game-high four goals. The freshman took five shots in the game, four of which resulted in scores, for an 80.0 shot and shot-on-goal percentage. The Raleigh, N.C., native also claimed one ground ball, one draw control and one caused turnover in the game.
 
Elon remains home to host local opponent High Point on Wednesday, March 11, at 6 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium.
