RICHMOND, Va. – Elon University men's tennis doubles duo Chris Humphreys and Petar Tomic claimed its second consecutive CAA Doubles Team of the Week honor Wednesday, Feb. 22.
 
After playing at No. 2 doubles earlier in the season, Humphreys and Tomic jumped up to No. 1 doubles and continued their stellar play with a 6-3 win over James Madison's Theophile Lanthiez and Paul Mendoza and a 6-3 win over Longwood's Florian Uffer and Amadeo Hervas.
 
After opening the season 1-5, the duo has won four matches in a row during Elon's four-match homestand. With the strong few weeks, they helped Elon take its overall record from 1-5 to 5-5 as the team heads back out on the road.
 
This weekend, Elon will travel to New England as it takes on Brown and Yale on Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26, respectively. Saturday's match against Brown is set for 9 a.m. and Sunday's contest against Yale is slated for 10 a.m.
