ELON, N.C. – After competing at the River Landing Classic on Monday and Tuesday, the Elon University women's golf team returns for its second tournament of the week on Friday through Sunday at the Wofford Low Country Intercollegiate. Wofford is hosting the tournament at the par-72, 6,009-yard Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
- Teams will play one round each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Play will begin at 8:32 a.m. for Friday's first round with continuous tee times off the first hole.

FALL SEASON RECAP
- Elon kicked off its fall season with a playoff victory at the William & Mary Invitational. Playing in her first college tournament, freshman Ashley Lafontaine made an eagle in the playoff against Richmond to help the Phoenix secure the win.
- The Phoenix carried its momentum into its home event, as Elon won the third annual Elon Invitational at Alamance Country Club by 25 shots. Lafontaine birdied the final hole to earn the individual title, and Lotte Fox, Apple Ngamwong and Annabelle Ackroyd all joined Lafontaine in the top 10. Lafontaine's victory helped her earn Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week honors on _.
- After back-to-back victories, Elon posted a runner-up result at the Boston College Intercollegiate. Ackroyd finished alone in second and Fox placed solo seventh as the Phoenix finished two shots behind host Boston College. Ackroyd won CAA Player of the Week on Sept. 28 for her performance in the tournament.
- The maroon and gold wrapped up its fall by placing fifth at the Edisto Island Invitational. A final round 67 earned Ackroyd her fourth straight top 10 to start the season, as the senior tied for ninth.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Phoenix finished seventh at the River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C. on March 13-14.
- Annabelle Ackroyd and Svarin Yuenyong both tied for 19th place in the individual standings. Ackroyd led the Phoenix and ranked No. 3 in the field in par-4 scoring average for the week (4.13) while Yuenyong led Elon in par-5 scoring average (4.92).
- Coming off her individual title at the RiverTowne Invitational to begin the spring season, Apple Ngamwong placed in a tie for 29th after a final round 80.
- With a final round 79, Ashley Lafontaine came in a tie for 35th place. She led Elon for the week in par-3 scoring average (3.00).
- Lotte Fox made two par-4 birdies in her final round to finish in a tie for 40th place.
- The Phoenix led the field in pars for the week with 172.
- Elon ranked No. 3 in the field for the week in par-4 scoring average (4.29).
