Kelly Page joined the Elon staff as director of football operations in the summer of 2014. Page came to Elon after spending one year as a graduate assistant in marketing and promotions at Ball State University.
"I am extremely happy, but even more proud, to hire Kelly Page as the director of football operations," said Elon head coach Rich Skrosky. "As a quarterback who played for me, Kelly was the epitome of what a student-athlete should be. Kelly was a high-profile player coming out of high school in Texas who overcame adversity throughout his high school and college career. His ability to come to work every day as a player encompasses the 'embrace the grind' culture. He took that same personality to the marketing department at Ball State. He will be a tremendous addition to the program working with our student-athletes as well as the people here on campus and the supporters of Elon football."
Page was a quarterback for the Ball State program during Skrosky’s tenure with the Cardinals. In 24 career games, Page threw for 1,737 yards an 14 touchdowns. He also ran for 368 yards and three scores from 2009-12.
A three-year letter-winner at Ball State, Page was awarded the program’s 2012 Dave McClain Leadership Award and was a member of the program’s player’s council.
Page earned his bachelor’s degree in sport administration from Ball State in 2012.
A Word on Page
"I was excited to hear of Kelly’s role in football operations at Elon. He’s a great young man, and I know he will do a great job because of his outstanding work ethic, attention to detail and leadership, qualities that were apparent when he arrived as a quarterback at Ball State."
- Brady Hoke, University of Michigan head football coach
