CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Elon Men and Women Cross Country Teams finished eighth and seventh respectably at the Lou Onesty Invitational held at the University of Virginia on September 11. The men had a total time of 2:25.42 in the 8,000 meter race, as the women produced a total time of 1:47.09 in the 5,000 meter race.

Leading the Fightin' Christians women was Kari Spiker who place 43rd with a time of 20:33.90. The top men's finisher was Brian Zent who placed 29th with a time of 27:58.
