ELON, NC -- The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship will be hosting a speech by North Carolina State University women's basketball coach Kay Yow on Thursday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. in McCrary Theater.
Yow (pictured right) is one of the most admired and respected coaches on the international and collegiate basketball scene. She has amassed an overall record of 636-285 in her 32 years as a head coach at both Elon and North Carolina State. While with the Wolfpack, Yow has compiled a record of 578-266 in 28 seasons. Yow is a 2002 inductee into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
This event features an uplifting performance by the Elon Gospel Choir. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Previously, the FCA and IV have hosted Michael White, former linebacker for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.
