ELON, N.C. – Taking its first step into the world of video streaming live game action, the Phoenix is set to broadcast the home men’s basketball game versus Wofford this Saturday evening at 7:00pm. It is the first time Elon has ventured into providing live video for basketball and the expectations are that this will be the first of many opportunities for fans to catch the Phoenix on the computer screen.
“We are very excited about testing our processes and capabilities with video streaming this weekend,” says Elon Director of Athletics Dave Blank. “We look forward to the game and the operation review that will follow on Monday morning. We believe that this first game will be an exciting first step for our fans and the experiences of our student-athletes.”
To view the game, log on to
www.soconsports.com and subscribe to the “MBK: Wofford at Elon” event that can be found under “SoCon TV” link. The price of the game is $5.95. Take time to review other subscription packages so that as the offering of Phoenix sports events continues to grow, so does your opportunity to view games at a reduced rate.
