ELON, N.C. -- The Elon cheer and dance teams will hold tryouts for the 2011-12 season on the weekends of March 11-12 and April 15-16.

From 6-9 p.m. in Alumni Gym on the Fridays of the tryouts those interested in joining the dance team will learn material while those trying out for the cheerleading team will learn material and have a stunt clinic.  The next day, those trying out for the dance team will be asked to audition at 3 p.m. while those trying out for the cheerleading squad will do so at 4:30 p.m. 

The Saturday, March 12 dance tryouts will be held in Studio 6 of the Koury Athletic Center while the Saturday, April 16 tryouts will be located in East Gym.  The March 12 cheer tryouts will take place in Jordan Gym in the Koury Athletic Center with the April 16 tryouts being contested in East Gym.
