ELON, N.C. – After eight straight matches on the road, the Elon volleyball team (11-9, 2-2 SoCon) finally returns home to Alumni Gym this weekend for its first Southern Conference home matches of the season. The Phoenix hosts The Citadel (4-15, 0-4 SoCon) tomorrow, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. before taking on Georgia Southern (15-3, 3-1 SoCon) on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 4 p.m.

Looking Back
The Phoenix faced both the Bulldogs and the Eagles just two weeks ago as SoCon play started, winning over The Citadel after falling at GSU. Elon is currently on a two-match winning streak after sweeps at both Davidson and North Carolina A&T. The last match the maroon and gold played in Alumni Gym was on Sept. 18 when the Phoenix defeated Radford, 3-2.
 
Looking Ahead
Elon will go back on the road next weekend for key SoCon matches at both Samford and Chattanooga. The Phoenix plays the Bulldogs on Friday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. in Birmingham, Ala., before taking on the Lady Mocs on Satuday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. in Chattanooga, Tenn.
