Quotable: "It was kind of a kick in the stomach. You work really hard and put a lot of time in to feel like you're getting to a halfway decent place. Coming in, I didn't see this coming. It's a good lesson right off the get-go. That's a good club; we knew it was. We knew it would be a challenge, but we thought we'd compete a little bit better than that. I think we're a better club than we showed this weekend." – Elon head coachÂ
Mike KennedyOn Deck:Â Elon is scheduled to play its first road game of the season on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at UNCG. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
