HARRISONBURG, Va. – Elon University women's tennis dropped its regular season finale at James Madison, 6-1, on Saturday, April 14, at Hillside Courts.

Montana Moore was the highlight for the Phoenix as she picked up the team's lone point with a victory at the No. 6 singles position. Elon falls to 13-12 overall with the loss, while James Madison improves to 19-3 on the season with the victory.

"It's not the way we wanted to end the regular season, but this match is a good learning experience for us," said head coach Elizabeth Anderson. "We had to make some lineup changes without Olivia Lucas today, but I am especially proud of the way Montana [Moore] came in and competed. We will take the experience we gained from this match and continue to prepare for the CAA Championships back at home next weekend."
