RICHMOND, Va. – Elon University volleyball outside hitter
Kam Terry has earned her second consecutive CAA Offensive Player of the Week honor Monday, Sept. 10, after nearly making program history for kills in a match over the weekend.
At the Wake Forest Invitational, Terry averaged 21.0 kills per set in finishing with 63 kills over the three matches wit just 20 errors total. Against Georgia Southern, Terry came one kill short of tying the program record for most kills in a match with 32. The mark is the most in Elon's Division I era, the second most in program history and one short of matching Velma Degree's all-time mark on Oct. 9, 1993, against Prebyterian.
Elon is back in action with a mid-week match Wednesday, Sept. 12, on the road against Duke. First serve inside Cameron Indoor Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m.
