ELON, N.C.— TopDrawerSoccer.com announced that junior defender Kayla Hodges has been selected as a TopDrawerSoccer.com Women's Team of the Week honoree for her performances against No. 23 Hofstra and UNCW in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championship.
 
Hodges was a key component of the Phoenix backline in the CAA Championship as Elon shut out both Hofstra (1-0) and UNCW (1-0). The win against the Pride was the first in program history, while the victory over the Seahawks was the Phoenix's second all-time over UNCW.     
 
Elon will make its second-ever appearance in the NCAA Championship when it faces Milwaukee in the opening round at WakeMed Soccer Park on Wednesday, April 28 at 3 p.m.
