ELON, N.C. - Elon University women's tennis fell to JMU, 6-1, on Saturday, April 9, at the Hillside Tennis Courts in Harrisburg, Va.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Sibel Tanik led the way for Elon in singles play, battling back to outlast Natalia Nikolopoulou 5-7, 6-4, 10-7 in a three-set battle in No. 1 singles. Tanik is now on a five-match winning streak and sits at 10-5 overall in singles play.
- Olivia Archer nearly came back to defeat Hope Moulin in No. 5 singles, earning a 6-3 tally in the second set after dropping the first 6-1. In the decisive third set, Moulin outlasted Archer 10-4 in a tiebreaker.
- The tandem of Tanik and Lizette Reding secured the lone win for Elon in doubles play, taking down Michelle Los Arcos and Daniela Voloh 6-4 in the No. 1 spot. With the win the duo picked up its team-leading 11^th this year and earned its fifth win in six outings.

Elon returns to action on Wednesday, April 13, when it travels to Greensboro, N.C. for a 2:30 p.m. matchup against UNCG.
