Richmond, Va. – Elon freshman Jessica Parker was voted to the CAA All-Rookie Team, the CAA announced Wednesday. Parker becomes the sixth Phoenix in the Mary Tendler era to make the All-Rookie team following Sydney Busa (2014), Kodi Garcia (2017), Kellyn Trowse (2019), Sydney Love (2021) and Clara LaRue (2022).  

  

Parker was Elon's leading setter this season, appearing in all 27 matches with 25 starts. She led the Phoenix in assists (600), assists per set (6.25) and service aces (38). Her 0.40 aces per set tied for fifth in the CAA while her 600 assists ranked No. 7 in the league. She ranked third on the team in digs (165) and digs per set (1.72). 

  

The Winfield, Ill. native tallied four double-doubles throughout the season, most recently in the team's match against Delaware on Nov. 12. Parker tallied a career-high 36 assists and 10 digs along with one block and one ace. Parker finished the season recording double figure assists in all 27 matches and at least one ace in 16 of those matches.
