Comeback Falls Just Short For Men’s Tennis Against Georgia State

ATLANTA, Ga. – A valiant comeback attempt fell just short for the Elon University men's tennis team Saturday in a 4-3 loss at Georgia State.

After trailing 3-0, the Phoenix rattled off three consecutive singles victories to tie the score at 3-3. However, the Panthers won the final singles match to secure the victory.

  • Georgia State won the first two completed singles contests at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions to go ahead 3-0.
