The win was Elon's 10th in a row, a streak that began on Jan. 28. The victory was also the team's 10th at home this season.

The Phoenix improved to 11-4 on the season with the victory. The Camels dropped to 8-6 with the loss.

THE RUNDOWN
  • Elon won a competitive doubles point with a decisive victory at the No. 1 spot.
  • The Camels won the first match to finish on Court 3 before Madison Cordisco and Mariana Reding answered with a 6-1 victory for Elon on Court 2. It was the duo's team-best ninth win of the season and their eighth at the No. 2 spot.
  • On Court 1, Sibel Tanik and Lizette Reding went behind early. However, in a match that featured 10 breaks of serve in 12 games, Elon's top duo rallied late to win 7-5, breaking serve in the final game to secure the doubles point for the maroon and gold. It was their 31st victory as a tandem.
  • The doubles point was Elon's fifth straight and ninth in the last 10 matches. The Phoenix has lost just one doubles point during its winning streak.
  • Playing the No. 3 spot, Mariana Reding posted Elon's first singles victory of the day, as she defeated Campbell's Tamsin Hart 6-2, 6-4. It was the freshman's team-best 11th win of the season and her ninth straight. During her winning streak, she has won 18 of 20 completed sets.
  • Helen Sarikulaya extended a significant winning streak of her own on Court 5, as the sophomore delivered her eighth straight victory by defeating Mariana Ossa 7-6 (5), 6-2. In her last eight completed matches, Sarikulaya is 16-1 in total sets.
  • Making her second appearance of the season at No. 2 singles, Tanik secured the winning point for the Phoenix by coming from behind to beat Eeva Ristola 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. The senior broke serve in the final game to polish off the victory. It was her second win of the season after losing the opening set and the ninth in her Elon tenure.
  • Just after Tanik's dramatic win, her doubles partner capped off another Phoenix win on the court beside her. Lizette Reding tallied the 49th win of her singles career with a 7-5, 7-5 triumph against Mialy Ranaivo on Court 1. It was the senior's 10th singles victory this season, marking her fourth consecutive campaign with double-digit singles wins.
  • Freshman Simone Bergeron forged a three-set battle on Court 6 and ultimately prevailed 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-4 over Lena Karlovcan. Bergeron improved to 6-0 on the season in singles with the win.
  • This is just the third time the Phoenix has won 10 straight matches in the program's Division I history. The only other times came in 2013, when Elon also won 11 and 10 in a row in two different spans.
  • The win capped off a perfect four-match homestand for the maroon and gold. Elon has now won nine of its 10 matches contested at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center this season.
