RICHMOND, Va. – For the fourth time this season, freshman Nick Dorn of the Elon University men's basketball team was named the CAA Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday, March 4.
 
Dorn averaged 12.5 points per game as the Phoenix went 1-1 last week. The Charlotte, N.C., native scored 14 points in the Phoenix's win over William & Mary last Thursday while knocking down four three-pointers in the contest. He followed up with 11 points off the bench against Monmouth and ended the week averaging 3.0 rebounds per game while hitting six three-pointers.
 
Dorn's fourth CAA Rookie of the Week accolade matches Towson's Tyler Tejada for the most in the league this season.
 
Elon begins postseason play at the 2024 Jersey Mike's CAA Men's Basketball Championship. The 11^th-seeded Phoenix faces 14^th-seeded Hampton in the opening round of the tournament on Friday, March 8 at 4:30 p.m. at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
