Elon Sports Hall Of Fame 2026-27 Nomination Period Open

Members Of Elon Community Encouraged To Participate

ELON – Elon Athletics continues to accept nominations for the Elon Sports Hall of Fame, honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Phoenix athletics. The open nomination period for the 2026-27 class, is underway and will remain active until the start of the 2026-27 academic year.
 
Members of the Elon community, including alumni, fans, and supporters, are encouraged to participate in the nomination process by submitting deserving former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, or contributors who have demonstrated excellence during their time at Elon. Nominations must be submitted using the official form available online at ElonPhoenix.com.
 
To be considered, nominees must meet established criteria, which include:
  • Completed at least two full seasons at Elon
  • Had eight (8) years elapsed since his/her last year of intercollegiate competition
  • Been truly outstanding
  • Been of good character
 
The Elon Sports Hall of Fame was established to preserve the rich heritage of Phoenix Athletics and to recognize individuals whose achievements have significantly impacted the university's athletic legacy.
 
The 2025-26 Elon Sports Hall of Fame class – Chase Austin (baseball), Caitlin Beeler (cross country/track & field), Nicole Dennion (women's soccer), Clint Irwin (men's soccer), Jordan Johnston (women's tennis) and Mike Kennedy (baseball) – will be inducted this fall on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. ET in Alumni Gym.
