Anderson on Kloppers: Daleen showed a lot of determination this fall in working very hard to regain strength from a severe injury. She has outstanding hands up at the net. I am looking forward to seeing her compete again this spring.

2008-09: Helped Elon to 6-1 victory over Chattanooga with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Brianna Wishing • competed against opponents from three ranked schools • improved in doubles as the season went on, winning three of final four matches with teammate Haley Wahl at the No. 2 spot • posted three fall doubles victories with Paige Kensrue • captured third place in doubles at the UNC Wilmington Invitational paired with Elisa Simonetti.
Prep: Came to Elon with a significant amount of international experience • finished her junior career ranked No. 5 in singles in South Africa • placed fifth at the South African Nationals in 2008 • ranked as high as No. 1 in doubles in the girls 18s division.

What is your most embarrassing memory while playing tennis? I served and my hair got caught in the strings and I yanked a chunk of hair out!
My craziest ambition in life is to: Go shark diving.
If you could compete in any sport against any athlete, who would it be and why? I would love to play soccer against Christiano Ronaldo — self explanatory!
