Career Summary
Nyah Spearman, a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, appeared in 36 matches and made four starts during her Elon career. While playing for the maroon and gold, she scored one goal and tallied three assists for five total points. She netted her first-career goal as a sophomore in a 3-3 draw on Sept. 11, 2016 against Richmond on Rudd Field. Spearman, who was selected as a team captain during her senior year, battled injuries throughout her career. Spearman graduated with an Economics major and was rewarded for her stellar work off the field and in the classroom. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Epsilon honor societies, and was a member of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, as well as the Athletic Director’s honor roll, the President’s List and Dean’s List.

Played in seven matches and earned three starts during her senior year • Was one of the four team captains as a senior • Recorded a totla of 157 minutes of action and attempted one shot • Earned her first start of the season on Senior Day against Towson (9/30) • Also got the start against Drexel (10/21) and UNCW (10/23) • Tallied her lone shot of the season at Duke (8/26) • Played a season-high season-high 30 minutes in her final collegiate game at UNCW (10/23) • Named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

Missed the entire season due to injury • Named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2016 (Sophomore)
Saw action 14 matches and earned her first-career start • Scored one goal and added an assist for three total points • Scored her first-career goal on her first shot of the season in a 3-3 draw against Richmond (9/11) in the 32nd minute • Tallied her assist in Elon’s 3-0 win at William & Mary (10/2) • Recorded a shot at Northeastern (10/9) • Made her first-career start against College of Charleston (10/21) and registered a shot in 38 minutes • Played a total of 321 minutes • Named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
