She ended the season with 47.0 points, 18 kills, led the Phoenix with 705 assists (5.88/set) and 27 services aces, recorded 189 digs, and added three blocks...Turned in four double-double outings and recorded double-digit assists in all 31 matches she played in...Garcia is now seven assists shy of reaching 2,800 for her career and is fourth on the program's all-time assists leaders list...Tallied 22 assists with 12 digs at Robert Morris...Reached 30 assists with five digs in a 3-1 victory over Furman. She followed with 31 assists and four digs in a 3-2 upset of Wake Forest...Had a 25-assist, 11-dig double-double at Virginia...Ended with 30 assists in a five-set decision versus Northeastern...Racked up a season-high 33 assists in Elon's 3-2 final over Delaware. 2017: Earning CAA Rookie of the Year and a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team, Garcia started 31 of Elon’s 32 matches and played in all 121 sets the team played as a freshman…Closed the year with 1,279 assists, 263 digs, 35 kills, 27 assists and 23 blocks…Her assist total led the team and finished as the second-most in a season in program history while tying for the most in a campaign since Elon became a Division I program…Was named CAA Rookie of the Week three times throughout the year…Posted a pair of 60-plus assist matches, both against William & Mary…Her 63 assists against the Tribe tied for the 10th-most in a match in program history…Closed the campaign with 12 double-doubles, which included a 47-assist, 17-dig night in the Liberty Invitational finale against the Flames to set a season-high for digs…Also finished with 51 assists and 16 digs in the CAA Tournament against James Madison…Recorded at least 40 assists in 19 matches while reaching at least 50 on five occasions…Named the team’s top newcomer after the season.

High School: A team captain in 2015 and 2016 at Tomball Memorial, Garcia was been named the school's Leadership Award winner for her guidance as a captain while helping the team to the second round of the state playoffs each of her final three years in 2014, 2015 and 2016...Was honored as a First Team All-District honoree three times and picked up All-Academic honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...Played club for the Texas Tornados, was named to the USAV Open All-Tournament Team and was a team captain in her final year in 2016-17.
