Biography

2009-10: Missed about six weeks of action due to injury • Contributed seven points and a career-high 11 rebounds in Elon’s win at Furman (2/6) • Scored season-best 12 points on 3-of-4 from the field and 6-of-7 from the line at College of Charleston (2/11) • Dumped in seven points and posted four rebounds in 16 minutes against Appalachian State (2/22).

2008-09:  Red-shirted following ACL surgery.

 2007-08: Started 10 games and appeared in a total of 23 contests • Averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds • Tied a career-high with four assists in the season-opener at Virginia Tech (11/9) • Established a career-best with two blocks at SoCon rival Appalachian State (1/28) • Pulled down a season-best nine rebounds and scored a season-high 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting from the field in a league game at College of Charleston (1/5).

Prep Career: Spent the 2005-06 season as a starter for coach Fletcher Arritt at Fork Union Military Academy • Season was highlighted by an upset over top-ranked Notre Dame Academy • Finished his high school career at Patrick Henry as the all-time leader with 484 rebounds and 147 blocks • Earned second-team All-Colonial District honors his senior year after averaging 14.9 points, 8.6  rebounds, 1.74 assists and 2.26 blocks a game • Three-year starter • Took part in the Commonwealth Classic All-Star game and the Tri-City All-Star game after his senior campaign • Played AAU basketball for Team Richmond.
