SOPHOMORE (2023-24)
Selected to the 2023-24 Preseason All-CAA Second Team • Played and started all 32 games • Finished second on the team in points per game (12.1) while pacing the squad in rebounds per contest at 4.8 • Was second on the team in total assists with 84 • Shot 45.0 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from three-point range • Averaged 27.0 minutes per game • Led the team with 22 double-digit scoring performances • Scored a career-high 26 points while going 10-of-16 from the floor versus Delaweare (2/15) • Had 21 points at UNCW (2/17) with five rebounds and five assists • Had his lone double-double of the year versus Warren Wilson (11/30) with 12 points and 10 rebounds • Named the CAA Player of the Week on Feb. 19

FRESHMAN (2022-23)
Appeared in 31 games, making 27 starts during his rookie campaign • Named the CAA Rookie of the Year • Took home the league's Rookie of the Week accolade four times during the season • Finished second on the team in scoring at 11.4 points per game and in rebounds in 5.1 boards per contest • Dished out 75 assists and had 34 steals, also finishing second on the team in both categories while averaging 29.5 minutes per game • Led the team with three double-doubles on the season • Added a double-double with a season-high 24 points and 12 rebounds at High Point on Nov. 30 • Went 10-of-13 from the floor while scoring 23 points with seven rebounds versus Johnson & Wales (Charlotte) on Dec. 11 • Scored 19 points with six rebounds at No. 18/21 Indiana • Had 20 points with a season-high eight assists at Northeastern on Feb. 4 • Pulled down a season-best 13 rebounds while scoring 17 points at No. 22 College of Charleston on Jan. 14 • Had 18 points and hit the game-winning free throws versus Hampton on Feb. 13.

Prior to Elon
Mackinnon started playing professionally in the NBL in Australia at the age of 17 • Won back-to-back Gold Medals with the U20 Australian National Team • Named an All-Star 5 at the Australian National Championship • Earned him a scholarship to the Centre of Excellence and the NBA Global Academy.
