**NEW** Clear Bag Policy
-
Elon Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy at all home basketball games. Patrons bringing bags in Schar Center must ensure that they are clear bags and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Permitted items include clutch purses, diaper bags, items related to a medical condition and factory-sealed bottles of water. 

Alcohol

-It is prohibited to bring alcohol into Schar Center from outside the venue. Violators will be subject to removal and applicable legal action.
-New in 2020, adult beverages will be sold on the concourse at Thursday men's basketball games and Friday women's basketball games during conference play.

Arena Entrances
-All fans are directed to enter Schar Center through Gate A and Gate B on the concourse level. 
-Individuals with tickets will not be permitted to enter at ground level. Only properly credentialed game day staff and visitors will be permitted entry at these locations.

ATM
-While ATM machines are not on site at Schar Center, a Wells Fargo ATM machine is located in Moseley Center and outside the Elon Town Center in Downtown Elon next to Pandora's Pies.
-For Bank of America customers, an ATM machine is located across from the post office on Williamson Avenue near the Elon Police Station just across the train tracks.

Banners and Posters
-Banners must be approved prior to display in Schar Center. Call 336-278-6800 no later than 5 p.m. two days prior to game day.

Concessions
-Concession stands open when gates open 60 minutes prior to the game and are located throughout the arena.
-No outside food or beverage may be brought inside the arena.
-Be sure to check out new offerings in 2019-20, including the Pit Beef Sandwich, Crab Cakes and Sausage of the Game from locally-owned Giuseppi's. Fans are also encouraged to walk the concourse for other offerings around the building.
-In addition to food offerings, adult beverages will be sold on the concourse at Thursday men's basketball games and Friday women's basketball games during conference play.

Emergency Procedure
-In the event of an emergency situation, an announcement will be made over the public address system and information will be displayed on the video board.
-When the facility is deemed safe, an announcement will be made via the public address system, video board, and social media, as well as radio and available streaming outlets.

First Aid
-Emergency medical personnel are setup in the concourse area behind sections 105 and 106. 
-For assistance, please contact a public safety officer or an event staff member.

Game Programs
-Each game, programs with rosters, Elon's schedule and team stats can be found on the poster cart at the marketing table near Gate A.

Lactation Space
-A lactation space is available inside Schar Center. To access the space, please ask a game day staff member on site.

Lost & Found
-The lost and found station is located at the ticket office.
-Found items should be turned in to the attendant at the lost and found station.
-Items which are unclaimed on game day can be claimed the following day by calling 336-278-6800.

Parking (Map)
-Premium reserved parking spaces are available on a season-long basis through the Elon Ticket Office. For men's basketball games, this includes Hunt A and Hunt B Reserved parking lots. For more information about how to obtain a parking space in these lots, contact the Elon Ticket Office at (336) 278-6750.
-Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Hunt A and Hunt B parking lots.
-Coming to the game without a parking pass? That's ok, too! Public parking is available in the Hunt B parking lot, located at Schar Center at no cost. Should Hunt B reach capacity, fans will be directed to park in Ingold, Global Neighborhood or Oaks parking lots. Shuttles to and from the stadium will not be provided.

Pets & Service Animals
-Pets are not permitted in Schar Center. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.

Playing Surface
-Fans are not permitted on the playing surface at any time.

Prohibited Actions
-No re-entry after exiting
-No smoking or use of tobacco products, including smokeless varieties such as electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vapor cigarettes
-No solicitation or distribution of handouts
-No throwing of any objects
-Violence of any kind

Prohibited Items
To ensure a fan and family-friendly atmosphere the following items are prohibited in Schar Center:
-Weapons
-Explosives
-Alcoholic beverages
-Artificial noisemakers
-Outside food and beverages
-Smoking/Tobacco products
-E-cigarettes
-Containers or coolers
-Flags on poles
-Bicycles, skateboards, hover boards or rollerblades
-Pets (except service animals)

Restrooms
-Restroom facilities are located on both sides of the arena.
-Patrons are not permitted on ground level for use of restroom facilities.

Security
-Security personnel may inspect camera bags, pocketbooks and similar items at the entrance gate.
-For assistance at any time, please see a member of the facility's game day staff or security personnel.

Tickets
-Tickets to Elon athletics events are available through the Elon Ticket Office.
-To purchase tickets, visit elonphoenix.com/tickets or call (336) 278-6750 during normal business hours. Fans can purchase tickets online 24/7.

WIFI
-Elon University offers public WiFi for guests at Schar Center.
-To access, select the "public" option and follow the brief access instructions that ensue.
