Robert Goldin begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Elon University men's soccer team and head coach Marc Reeves. Goldin's main responsibility with the Phoenix will include working with the Elon goalkeepers.

A native of Greensboro, N.C., Goldin played his collegiate career at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga., from 2014-17. He was a team captain with the team during the 2017 season in which he helped the program reach the 2017 NCAA DIII Tournament. Â He also was a member of the men's track and field team.

Goldin also served the assistant boys soccer coach for the Lovett School junior varsity and varsity teams in 2016.

Goldin majored in biology/pre-medicine at Oglethorpe, graduating in 2018. He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation "E" Coaching License.
