Courtney Ziemba serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Trainer for Elon Athletics. She was promoted to the role in September 2025 and oversees the Koury Field House training room, manages the sports medicine budget and leads Elon's emergency action plan efforts.
Ziemba works directly with Elon's men's soccer and lacrosse programs. She arrived at Elon in June 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer.
Prior to Elon, Ziemba was an assistant athletic trainer at Piedmont University for three years in Demorest, Ga. where she primarily worked with men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming, and baseball.
Ziemba earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training and kinesiology from Michigan State University. Ziemba pursued her master’s degree in athletic training at Texas State University. Her graduate assistantship was with Texas Lutheran University, working with volleyball and softball.
