Gray Aust was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletic Communications after graduating from Elon University in May of 2023.
Aust serves as the primary communications contact for football and baseball. He also serves as the secondary communications contact for the men's and women's basketball teams. He took over communication's contact responsibilities for the women's basketball and baseball programs during his senior year at Elon. During his time as a full-time employee, Aust has overseen both women's soccer, men's soccer and cheer & dance. He served as the primary media contact for the men's soccer program's second CAA Regular Season title in three years in 2024.
During his time as a student, Aust took part in Elon Athletics Marketing, Sports Information, and Elon Sports Vision. Aust was also a member of the Elon Cheer program during his freshman year. He also worked with the Corn Belt Summer Collegiate Baseball League in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as interning with the Guest Experience staff at the Miami Dolphins.
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Aust earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
