Biography

Fall 2011: Partnered with Cameron Silverman to win the Group B1 Doubles title with three victories at the Duke Fab Four Invite • the duo knocked off teams from Duke, William & Mary and Virginia Tech • with Silverman, won the A1 Doubles title at the Elon Fall Invitational as the pair earned wins over teams from USC Upstate, NC State and Wake Forest • advanced to the semifinals in doubles action at the ITA Carolinas Regional event with Silverman with decisions over pairs from Campbell and Appalachian State.

2010-11: Was a second-team all-league doubles pick with Cameron Silverman • posted a 14-4 doubles mark, including a 9-0 SoCon record • went 10-1 at number three doubles with Silverman • was 10-10 playing at both number two and three singles • won 11 straight doubles matches at number three to end the season • with Silverman, won at number three doubles against No. 56 South Carolina • picked up a three-set singles victory at number two against No. 56 South Carolina • paired with Silverman to advance to the A2 Doubles championship match of the Elon Fall Invitational • won his first match in the A1 Singles Draw of the Elon Fall Invitational.

2009-10: Saw time at numbers two, three and four singles, posting a 9-13 mark • played doubles with Alberto Rojas, Clark Howell and Thomas Darling • Was 5-4 at number three doubles with Darling and went 7-15 overall in doubles play • with Darling, picked up a win at number three doubles in Elon’s bout with No. 73 USC Upstate • won two doubles matches with Alberto Rojas at the UVa Classic • paired with Chase Helpingstine to earn a share of the doubles crown at the Elon Fall Invite.

2008-09 (at NC State): Competed as a red-shirt freshman for the Wolfpack, posting a record of 4-4 in singles action • earned victories over nationally-ranked teams such as Louisville, Old Dominion and Vanderbilt.

Prep: Top tennis recruit in the state of North Carolina, earning a peak ranking of No. 45 in the nation according to tennisrecruiting.net • played at Watauga High School and Heritage Academy, earning a Bronze Ball in doubles at the USTA Winter Nationals • posted undefeated conference singles and doubles marks as a freshman at Watauga, leading his team to a league championship.

Personal: Eric is the son of John and Chris Turner • majoring in sport and event management.
