Lori Beth Adams

Lori Beth Adams enters her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Elon University women's golf team in 2024-25. 

Adams earned her LPGA Tour card in 2019 and is competing on the Symetra Tour. She posted two top-10 finishes in 2017, qualified for Stage 2 of Qualifying School, and finished tied for second at the Island Resort Championship, earning conditional status for the 2018 LPGA season. She then tied for third at the Tour Championship and finished 15th on the 2018 Symetra Tour money list.

Other career achievements include qualifying for the 2015 U.S. Women's Open, placing third at the 2015 South Atlantic Women's Amateur, and tying for fourth at the 2015 Harder Hall Women's Amateur. Adams was also the runner-up in the 112th North South Women's Amateur Tournament at Pinehurst in 2014, becoming the first UNCW player in school history to make it to the semifinals. She posted a pair of top-5 finishes at the 2013 and 2014 Women's Eastern Amateur Championships and advanced to the round of 32 in the 2013 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.

A four-year member of the UNCW women's golf team, Adams was named 2013 CAA Women's Golfer of the Year, was a two-time First Team All-CAA selection in 2012-13 and 2013-14, a Second Team All-CAA selection in 2011-12, and was an eight-time CAA Women's Golfer of the Week. She won the 2014 Seahawk Classic and recorded nine top-5 tournament finishes, four top-10 finishes, and four top-15 performances throughout her collegiate career. Adams posted three top-10 and two top-5 results in a single season, was the first player in school history to receive two individual NCAA Regional invitations, and was the fourth player in school history to participate in four NCAA Regional Championships. At the 2014 NCAA Regional, she fired a career-low 68 in the first round and finished the event tied for 29th out of 126. 

Adams graduated from UNCW in 2014 with a degree in Parks & Recreation Management. She is a native of Burlington, N.C. and went to Western Alamance High School.
