Fall 2011: Opened the fall season with a doubles victory with teammate Maria Camara Ruiz at the Wake Forest Fall Invitational.

Spring 2011: Finished the season with a 4-1 record in singles play, all in the No. 5 position…Won her final four matches of the season, all two-set wins…Captured three wins in doubles action, including two straight to start the season.

Anderson on Smialek: Kaylyn is a great addition to the team. She works extremely hard and is very team-oriented. Kaylyn is very coachable and is always striving to reach her full potential.

Prep: Placed second in singles at the International Schools Tournament in 2005 and fourth in 2006 · achieved first place in doubles at the International Schools Tournament in 2007 and third in 2008.
