Jayme Pendergast is the assistant director of athletic support for athletics. Her main responsibilities include advising and monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes in assigned sport programs. Pendergast also oversees and assists with many administrative areas of the academic support for athletics office. She joined Elon in August of 2008 as an academic coordinator for athletics. Pendergast graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2006 with a degree in exercise science. She then received her masters degree in sport and exercise psychology from UNCG in 2008.
