Personal: Full name is Presly Jule Austin...Born on Jan. 16, 2003...Daughter of Anne and Curtis Austin...Has two older sisters, Sydney and Parker. Sydney is an outside hitter at the University of Calgary and played for the provincial team in Alberta. Parker is also an outside hitter and plays at North Carolina.

2022: Appeared in one match against North Carolina A&T on Sept. 17, registering one kill on two attacks.

2021: Finished her freshman campaign with nine kills, one assist, two digs and one block through 10 matches and 16 sets played...Made her collegiate debut in the season opener vs. Toledo at the Virginia Tech Invitational, scoring two kills against the Rockets...Had one kill with one dig and one block in the 3-1 win over Lehigh...Tallied two kills at Duke...Converted 1-of-3 attacks in a win over UNCW on Oct. 17.

2020-21: Arrived early to train with the team. She sat out the spring 2021 spring season and retained her freshman eligibility due to NCAA mid-year enrollment rules.

High School: A four-year letter winner at Harry Ainlay Composite High School, Austin garnered league and team MVP honors as a freshman and served as captain of the Titans multiple years...As a sophomore, she was the youngest senior varsity player as the team placed second in the city...In her senior season, she helped her squad to a second-place finish in the city and competed in the showcase game. She also earned her school's Athlete of the Month award for November...She played for Coach Janelle Rozema's Pandas Volleyball Club, which finished runner up at the National U18 Division 1 Tier 1, fourth at National U17 Division 1 Tier 1, and received Provincial Silver medals at the U16, U17, and U18 tournaments...Presly was a member of the 2018 Team Canada Youth team and was invited to participate in the 2017 Team Canada Youth Training Camp. In July 2020, she was one of 23 athletes selected to Canada's U20 National Training Team.

Having always played on older teams, she developed leadership skills at a young age, which is incredibly important and beneficial in the setter position.
