Ashlee Brackett joined Elon University Athletics in March 2023 as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications before becoming the Assistant Director of Creative Services and Communications in July 2025. A former Elon women’s volleyball manager, Brackett returned to her alma mater after graduating in 2022.
In her current role, Brackett serves as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball and assists in leading the creative design efforts for Elon Athletics. She serves as the department’s primary graphic designer, developing visual content for social media, video boards, recruiting materials, facility branding, marketing campaigns, and other digital and print initiatives that support Elon’s 17 varsity programs.
During her time as a student, Brackett was a member of the Elon women’s volleyball team, Women Influencers in Sport, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Elon Sports Vision cohort.
Before her role at Elon, Brackett gained experience across collegiate athletics, professional sports, and the entertainment industry through positions with The Walt Disney Company and the Chicago Bears.
A Rocky Mount, N.C., native, Brackett earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Criminal Justice. She is also set to complete her Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from North Carolina Wesleyan University in July 2026.
