Luke Vrooman joined Elon as a sport performance fellow in August 2025. Prior to his time with Elon, he completed strength and conditioning internships with UNC Football and UNC Olympic Sports where he worked primarily with Field Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Swim, Rowing, and Baseball. Luke also has passion for sport science and has gained experience as a sport scientist with UNC Football and most recently has spent the 2024-2025 season with Duke Field Hockey where he was a part of their NCAA Tournament run.
Luke earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and went on to get his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Emory & Henry College. He currently holds certifications through the NSCA (CSCS and CPSS), NC PT license, CPR/First Aid through the American Heart Association.
