Matt Creeron

Matt Creeron was named Elon’s Director of Development in Sept. of 2021 after serving as Development Officer for the College of Charleston Athletic Fund since Aug. 2018.  
 
At Charleston, Creeron was a frontline fundraiser who specifically worked on the annual fund and sport-specific giving. Among other tasks, Creeron developed and collaborated to create the Cougar Relief Campaign, led the Cougar Fuel campaign, and assisted in producing and executing the Cougar Club Annual Giving and Marketing plan.  
 
Creeron was also a Development Assistant for the Deacon Club at Wake Forest from Aug. of 2017 until July of 2018. Previously, he served in the athletics department at St. Bonaventure as both a graduate assistant and a marketing intern.  
 
Among other opportunities, Creeron was a participant in the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar in 2017 and a volunteer for the first and second round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament in Buffalo in 2017.  
 
A two-time graduate of St. Bonaventure, Creeron earned his bachelor’s degree in sports studies in May of 2016 and his master’s degree in business administration in May of 2017.
