Ray Vohasek is in his first season with the Phoenix in 2026 as a defensive quality control and assistant defensive line coach. Vohasek joins the Phoenix after serving as an assistant coach at George Washington High School following a stand out collegiate career at North Carolina.
In his time George Washington High School, Vahosek led his team to a #1 district seed for the first time in 13 seasons. Vahosek served as the defensive line coach and helped develop two players who earned Division I scholarships.
A two-time all-ACC selection at North Carolina, Vahosek served as a team captain of the Tar Heels for his final two seasons. He started for three seasons at nose guard and started on Tar Heel teams that reached the ACC Championship game and the Orange Bowl. Vahosek was a seventh round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023.
