A consistent starter at shortstop during his four years, Giles helped lead the Pirates to three Super Regional trips (2019, 2021, 2022). As a grad transfer, he helped Kentucky make it to a Super Regional in 2023 before he joined their coaching staff in 2025. Giles helped lead the Wildcats to two NCAA Clemson Regional wins during his first year on the coaching staff.
