RICHMOND, Va. – Elon University women's basketball center Ra'Shika White has been tabbed the season's first CAA Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon, Nov. 13.
 
The honor is the third CAA weekly honor for the sophomore from Charlotte, N.C., after winning two Rookie of the Week honors in consecutive weeks last December. White poured in a game-high 29 points on 12-of-17 shooting while collecting eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Her stellar effort comes after she finished with 22 points on 8-for-10 shooting to go with nine rebounds and three assists in Elon's exhibition win over Anderson.
 
Elon will return to action Monday night, Nov. 13, when it travels to North Carolina A&T for a 5:30 p.m. tip. The Phoenix owns a 10-7 all-time series lead over the Aggies, but North Carolina A&T has won each of the last five meetings, including a one-point win last time the two met on Dec. 31, 2013, in Alumni Gym.
