Morrissey is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Phoenix after a successful playing career at Duke University where she helped the Blue Devils to four consecutive NCAA quarterfinal appearances, including the national semifinal in 2011

Morrissey reached the 100-point plateau in her collegiate career and ranks 21st all-time in goals (76) and 22nd in assists (24) in Blue Devil program history. A three-year starter in the midfield, she was named to the All-ACC second team in 2014, was a four-year member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll and a three-time All-ACC Academic Team selection.

A native of Skaneateles, N.Y., Morrissey graduated from Duke in 2014 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Evolutionary Anthropology.
