ELON COLLEGE, NC - The Fightin' Christians battled the most heralded team to grace the court at Alumni Gymnasium and were able to hold, but the Demon Deacons proved to be too deep and swept Elon 3-0 (15-6, 15-7, 15-10) on Tuesday, November 2.

Trina Maso De Mayo lead the Demon Deacons by posting 13 kills and Margaret Davidson added 10 kills as Wake Forest improve to an impressive 22-6 record. Ashlee Phillips and Julie Cowley set 28 and 15 assists respectively for the Demon Deacons in the win.

Eli Mould collected 14 kills and 13 digs as the Fightin' Christians drop their overall record to 14-14 on the season. Katie Ruoff added seven, while Maria DeAngelo and Laura Griffin recorded five kills apiece. Lori Fourtune and Emerald Zemedkun set 19 and 16 assists respectively.

Elon will travel to Lynchburg, VA on Friday, November 5 to take on Big South Conference opponent Liberty University. First serve is set for 7 :30 pm.
