ELON, NC -- Elon University head men's soccer coach Mike Reilly announced today that Dustin Fonder has joined his coaching staff as an assistant effective immediately.

Fonder, a 1994 graduate of Roanoke College and a former NCAA Division III Player of the Year, comes to Elon after serving as the assistant men's and women's soccer assistant at his alma mater for the past five seasons. At Roanoke, Fonder was responsible for recruiting, scheduling and practice planning.

Fonder also has had coaching experience with the Roanoke Valley Youth Soccer Club and at Radford University. He played professionally in both the U.S.I.S.L. and N.P.S.L. From 1997-2001 Fonder served as the coordinator for the Virginia Olympic Development program where he directed all district try-outs and training sessions for western Virginia.
