Men's Cross Country Competes at NCAA Regionals

GREENVILLE, N.C.– The Elon University men's cross country team competed at the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 13 hosted by East Carolina. The men placed 28th in a field of 29 teams. John Tumbleston led the Phoenix finishing 137th with a time of 33:25 in the 10K race.

Adam Lindsey placed 147th with a 33:51 time while Brett Willi ran a 33:59 time and finished 150th and Eric Garren placed 161st with atime of 34:09. Malcolm White (185th/35:15), Daniel Quinn (187th/35:20) and Scott McNelis (195th/35:53) rounded out the field for Elon.

North Carolina State won the meet followed by William & Mary, Clemson, Virginia and Duke.
