“David is an athletic lineman who is physically ready to compete at the Division I level,” said Lembo. “He is a hard-working, mature and goal-oriented young man who will be a great addition to the Elon community. David has the potential to make us better on the offensive line as quickly as this fall, bolstering a unit where we are thin in numbers.”
A 6-3, 280-pound center, Harrison earned all-conference accolades for coach Rocky White’s West Mecklenburg High School squad. He was also named the West Mecklenburg offensive line MVP for two consecutive seasons. He is the son of David and Gladys Harrison.
