KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The Elon Phoenix men's soccer squad remained among the top-10 teams in the South Region as rated by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in the rankings released on Tuesday. The Phoenix held firm at sixth in the region and owns a 7-4-4 overall record. Elon has posted a 4-2-0 Southern Conference mark. This is the fifth consecutive week that Elon has appeared in the region rankings.
Furman, the 14th-ranked team in the nation, rates second in the region while College of Charleston is the third SoCon team in the regional rankings, coming in at seventh.
The Phoenix will take on former Big South rival Radford in Radford, Va. at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night before returning home for its final regular season tilt of the year on Saturday at 7 p.m. against UNC Greensboro.
