In addition, the league will have control over pregame, halftime and postgame content while both parties will have an equal share of the sponsor breaks. The SoCon, along with the statewide public television networks, will have the ability to simulcast the games on their website so that fans no in-state can view the contests.
The eight-game SoCon TV schedule will get underway with Appalachian State visiting Wofford on Oct. 1. That will be followed by Chattanooga at Georgia Southern on Oct. 8 and Furman at Georgia Southern on Oct. 15 before Elon hosts the Chattanooga Mocs on Oct. 22. The following week will feature Georgia Southern at Appalachian State. The final three games will see Wofford at Western Carolina (Nov. 5), Samford at The Citadel (Nov. 12) and Appalachian State at Elon (Nov. 19).
