ELON, N.C. -- The Elon Athletic Department will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 20 at Rhodes Stadium. The stadium gates will open at 1:30 p.m. and fans will be able to hear from the Elon volleyball and men's and women's soccer coaches and players about their upcoming seasons. At 3 p.m. the football team will hold a scrimmage.
Once the gates open at 1:30 p.m., Phoenix fans will be able to enjoy face painting and dressing like a Phoenix while receiving player autographs. Football posters and wall monsters will also be available for free to those in attendance. Free snacks will also be provided.
At 2 p.m. the Elon volleyball and soccer coaches and players will meet with the Phoenix faithful and answer questions from fans. The football team will take to McKinnon Field for a 3 p.m. scrimmage before being available for autographs and a meet-and-greet with fans at approximately 4:30 p.m.
