Baseball (14-11, 8-4 SoCon)
Elon vs. UNC Wilmington, Tuesday, March 27, at 6 p.m., Latham Park
Elon at Samford, Friday-Sunday, March 30-April 1, at 7/3/2 p.m., Birmingham, Ala.
• Elon won its third SoCon series of the year by taking two of the three games against #29 Appalachian State over the weekend.
• Junior catcher
Alex Swim currently boasts the longest hit streak in the SoCon at a career-best 18 games.
• The maroon and gold will close out its brief four-game home-stand by hosting UNC Wilmington at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night. Elon is 20-26 all-time against the Seahawks.
• This weekend the Phoenix will travel to Samford for another important SoCon series. Elon is 9-2 all-time against the Bulldogs and won two of the three meetings last season.
Football
Spring Practice
• Elon will begin its second spring practice period under coach
Jason Swepson on Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. on the Hunt and Tucker practice fields.
• Tuesday will be the first of 15 practices of the spring. The spring season will conclude on Saturday, April 28, with the annual Spring Game at 1 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium.

Men’s Tennis (7-9, 4-1)
Elon vs. Appalachian State, Wednesday, March 28, at 2:30 p.m., The Jimmy Powell Tennis Center
Elon at Furman, Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m., Greenville, S.C.
Elon at Wofford, Sunday, April 1 at 12 p.m., Spartanburg, S.C.
• The Phoenix will be coming off a weeklong break when it hosts the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Wednesday afternoon. Elon defeated ASU, 6-1, last season in the mountains to clinch the Southern Conference regular-season crown. Elon has won seven straight against App.
• With a 6-1 victory last season, Elon snapped a five-match losing streak to the Furman Paladins. The Phoenix has won four in a row against the Wofford Terriers, including a shutout victory last year.
• Elon’s top two singles players,
Cameron Silverman and
Stefan Fortman, are a combined 10-0 in conference singles matches.
Women’s Golf
Elon at Low Country Intercollegiate, Sunday-Monday, March 25-26, Hilton Head, S.C.
• Elon will wrap up play at the Low Country Intercollegiate on Monday. The Phoenix sat sixth out of 15 teams after Sunday's first round.
• Three Elon golfers were in the top 15 after the first round as freshman
Kristi Ingram was tied for seventh (77) and
Virginia Mayer and
Lauren Lebak were tied for 14th (79).
Women’s Tennis (12-5, 3-2)

Elon vs. Furman, Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m., The Jimmy Powell Tennis Center
• The Elon women's tennis team returns to The Jimmy Powell Tennis Center today at 2 p.m. when it hosts Southern Conference foe Georgia Southern.
• The Phoenix has won three of its last four matches and has a 7-1 mark at home this season.
•
Jordan Johnston has won six straight matches at Elon's No. 1 singles position and sits with a 10-4 record this season. Johnston was named the SoCon Player of the Week on March 13.
• Elon is home again this weekend when it hosts the Furman Paladins on Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m.
Women’s Track and Field
Elon at Raleigh Relays, Friday – Saturday, March 30 – 31, Raleigh, N.C.
• The track and field team returns to competition after a three-week absence at the Raleigh Relays this weekend on the campus of NC State.
• Several distance runners competed on March 16 at the Wake Forest Open.
Emily Tryon placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:12.28, while
Allyson Oram took fourth in the 5,000-meter run after clocking a 17:41.52.
• After placing first in the 400-meter dash and anchoring the winning 4x400-meter relay team, senior
Amy Salek was named the SoCon Female Track Athlete of the Week on March 14, as well as the SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week for her 3.76 GPA.
