ELON, N.C. -- It is almost Elon football season and that means the return of the Inside the Elon Huddle luncheons and the Elon Football Live radio show!  Both events will return the final week of August with the first luncheon being held on August 27 and the first radio show live on August 29.

The Inside the Elon Huddle luncheons are presented by Wells Fargo, hosted by the Phoenix Club and are held on Monday at noon at the Best Western Plus on Huffman Mill Road in Burlington.  For a $10 fee per week, Phoenix fans can come and enjoy a lunch provided by Grille 584 and hear coach Jason Swepson talk about the previous week's game and Elon's upcoming opponent.  Phoenix players will also be on hand to address the fans each week.  Each luncheon will also feature video clips from the prior game.  This is the sixth season for the luncheons.  Due to the Labor Day holiday, the luncheon in the first full week of September will be held on Tuesday, September 4.

For the third year in a row, the Elon Football Live presented by Select Bank and Trust radio show will air live from the Fat Frogg Bar and Grill in Elon.  The show is broadcast live on WPCM 920 AM on Wednesday nights from 7-8 p.m. beginning on August 29.  Phoenix faithful are encouraged to come out and catch the show live and ask questions of Coach Swepson.  Elon football color commentator Taylor Durham returns to host the program.  Fans can also submit questions online HERE.  The broadcast can also be heard online HERE.
